A trained biologist with a slight affinity for theory and the like. After a PhD in Helsinki focusing on the evolution of dispersal and bet-hedging, I spent a couple of years teaching myself and parts of the environmental chemistry community Bayesian thinking. In 2014 I came back to Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis, where I did my first degree on the Red Queen hypothesis, oh so many years ago. It took all the running I could do.
This site will soon be defunct as my foray into macroevolutionary biology has come to a halt.
